Established in 1992 by Patricia McCarroll, advance physiotherapy & sports injury clinic started its life as the Back Shop, Lisburn, and continues to enjoy growth because of numerous satisfied clients. The clinic is now staffed with five chartered physiotherapists, each with expertise in varying specialities and fully registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council.
At advance physiotherapy & sports injury clinic the aim is to reduce pain and therefore help the body to function normally. The physios treat people with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability or ageing. This may be a problem with joints, discs, muscles, tendons, ligaments or nerves. As specialist physios they treat musculoskeletal pain in all parts of the body, such as back and neck pain, sciatica, whiplash and headaches, arthritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and sports injuries.
The clinic also has a specialised physio for children, from birth to young adults.
There are regular pilates classes in their Lisburn clinic as well as classes in local businesses, to help people get up and get moving!
