Paediatric Physiotherapist
Ruth graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2010. She is accredited with the health and care professions council (HCPC) and is a member of the chartered society of physiotherapy (CSP) alongside the Assosciation of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP).
After completing adult rotations Ruth went on to specialise in Paediatrics. Ruth has over 10 years of Paediatric experience working in all areas in Paediatric Physiotherapy at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh. This has included treating babies, children and young people up to the age of 16 in both acute and community settings. Ruth has a wealth of experience in treatment musculoskeletal problems, concerns about infant and child development, and has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation.
Aside from all things physio related, Ruth is also a certified Baby and Infant Massage Instructor with IAIM.
When not at work, she is busy being a mum to her two boys.
